I am grateful to all of you who signed petitions for the reformers and voted for the reformers. John Richardson posted an excellent summary of the election results.
John Petrolino at Bearing Arms posted an excellent analysis of the impact of the Reformers that will be sworn in at the Board meeting on April 28 in Atlanta.
The NRA 2.0 reformers have aligned to support current Board member Charles Hiltunen as the candidate for the 76th director position.
The NRA 2.0 movement is a team effort, and the team is more important than any individual. Based on his past proven work in support of reform, I fully support Charlie as the 76th director. I attempted to have my name removed from the ballot, but the ballot had already gone to press.
I ask anyone considering voting for me to please vote for Charles Hiltunen. I expect Charlie to compete against either Tom King or Ron Schmeits. We absolutely need Charlie to prevail in this election!
Again, thank you for your support. If you will be in Atlanta for the Annual meeting, please take the time to vote for Charles Hiltunen as the 76th director.
That is a stand-up move on your part and illustrates why the BOD needs you on it. If you decide to run by petition next year, I'll be happy to help circulate your petition. I'll also push that you get nominated by the Nominating Committee.
On or off the board I hope you'll stay involved. I've always found your reportage valuable.
