Below is the Nominating Committee's list of nominations for the NRA 2025 board elections, released today. Two things are quite startling.
First, who's NOT on the list, directors who are up for re-election in 2025 but didn't get renominated. Jim Porter, former president, who dared to challenge Brewer's competence and billings before the board. Marion Hammer, former president, who clashed with Brewer, and dared to obstruct Charles Cotton's run for the EVP. Willes Lee, former first vice president, who dared to say he wouldn't lie to the board, and resigned from the Special Litigation Committee and Relocation Committee. Porter and Hammer had been directors for something over 25 years and had chaired many important committees, and Hammer had done incredible things for the 2A in Florida and nationwide. That doesn't matter. The Second Amendment doesn't matter. Porter, Hammer, and Lee had stood up to the powers that be, and that is all that matters.
The purge is on, comrades.
Second, before this year's election John Richardson, of Only Guns and Money, made an interesting point. The 2024 nominees numbered 28, but after it became known that four reformers had qualified by petition, the Nominating Committee named two more. Richardson said, "Adding more people to the list of nominees aka padding the ballot is meant to decrease the odds of one or more of the petition candidates being successful in their quest to be elected to the Board of Directors."
This year the Nominating Committee named, not 28-30 candidates, but 39 candidates. For about 25 positions.

If the allegation is substantiated that it was Brewer or one of Brewer’s cronies that Brewer threatened Wordpress with litigation our strategy will be the following.
Given the Vullo involved violating the First Amendment with coercion then we will get in touch with our contacts at The Trace, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and the Washington Times to see if one of them is interested in addressing this story!
Brewer et al, meaning Barr, Cotton and other Wayne loyalists!
