Yesterday, Charlie Cook of Riding Shotgun with Charlie came to Philly and we spent an hour riding around the historic district, encountering “Chicken Man”, dodging potholes, and getting stuck behind a bus on the narrow streets. Fortunately no carjacking attempts.
We had a great conversation about how I got started with firearms, firearm competition, and instructing and becoming a training counselor. Given the historic location, we also talked about my work for Project Appleseed and Revere’s Riders and I shared some of the historical stories that are told at those events.
We spent a fair amount of time on my run for the NRA Board of Directors and several of the issues that are part of my platform including developing more women and minority NRA certified firearm instructors.
I look forward to Charlie getting the video edited and published. Here is Charlie’s Youtube channel with his prior riders.
We got started outside the Betsy Ross House. Props to those that get the logo on my shirt.
Mad Mike know about your shirt?
